When I first began sketching the Dao models,
I was thinking about path.
道, in one literal sense, is the path, the way.
A path repeated over time becomes pattern.
That was the starting point.
Go opened up the field.
Because in Go, what matters is not only the move,
but the field the move is quietly shaping.
This is, in its own way, a model of stability.
From a relational dynamics perspective, long-run success depends not only on action, but on whether the position being built can actually hold.
Early structure shapes later possibility.
Path becomes pattern.
Pattern becomes position.
Position shapes possibility.
Excellence is capacity held in coherence over time, under constraint.
So this is where I will bring the Go mini-series to a pause for now.
What began with path now returns to Dao.
